Installing Vinyl Plank Flooring in Your Kitchen: A Comprehensive Guide

Vinyl plank flooring

Step 1: Preparation

Before embarking on the installation, meticulously prepare your kitchen.

Remove existing flooring and baseboards.
Clean the subfloor thoroughly and repair any imperfections.
Lay down a moisture barrier if required in your area.

Step 2: Install Underlayment (Optional)

For added comfort and sound dampening, consider installing underlayment. Simply roll out the underlayment over the subfloor and secure it with tape.

Step 3: Measure and Cut the First Row
