How to Fit Laminate Flooring Under Door Frames

Installing laminate flooring can be a challenging task, especially when you need to fit it under door frames. Step 2: Measuring and Cutting

Measure the width of the door frame from the inside edge to the outside edge. Add 1/2 inch to the measurement to allow for expansion space. Transfer the measurement to the laminate flooring and mark it with a pencil. Use a jigsaw to cut the laminate flooring to size.

Step 3: Inserting the Laminate Flooring

Place the laminate flooring under the door frame and gently tap it into place with a tapping block. Make sure the flooring is flush with the door frame and doesn't overlap the threshold.
