* Swiftlock Plus Laminate Flooring * Underlayment (optional) * Measuring tape * Pencil * Utility knife * Pry bar * Tap block * Circular saw or jigsaw * Safety glasses * Dust mask

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Prepare the Subfloor:

* Ensure the subfloor is level, dry, and free of any debris. * Install underlayment (optional), which will provide cushioning and soundproofing.

2. Measure and Cut:

* Measure the length and width of the room. * Cut the first row of planks to fit (using a circular saw or jigsaw).

3. Install the First Row:

* Start in a corner of the room. * Place the first plank against the wall, leaving a 1/4-inch gap for expansion. * Tap the next plank into place using a tap block.

4. Continue Installing Rows:

* Install subsequent rows by aligning the planks and tapping them into place. * Stagger the joints between rows.

5. Cutting Around Obstacles:
