How to Get Water-Based Paint Off Laminate Flooring

Water-based paint is a common type of paint used for both interior and exterior surfaces. It is relatively easy to apply and clean up, but it can be a challenge to remove from laminate flooring if it dries. Fortunately, there are a few simple steps you can follow to get water-based paint off laminate flooring without damaging the surface.

1. Gather your materials. You will need the following items:

A clean cloth or sponge
A bowl of warm water
A mild dish soap
A plastic scraper (optional)

2. Test the solution in an inconspicuous area. Before you apply the cleaning solution to the entire floor, test it in an inconspicuous area to make sure it does not damage the finish. To do this, apply a small amount of the solution to the area using a clean cloth or sponge. Let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe it away. 5. Dry the floor. Use a clean, dry cloth to dry the floor completely. Open windows or doors to help the floor dry more quickly.
