Choosing the Right Location

Store the unopened flooring boxes in a well-ventilated, climate-controlled room for at least 48 hours before installation. Ideal conditions include a temperature between 60-80°F (16-27°C) and humidity between 30-50%.

Moisture Acclimation

Once the boxes are open, remove the planks and stack them flat on a moisture barrier, such as a plastic sheet or vapor retarder. Allow them to acclimate for an additional 3-5 days, depending on the room's moisture level. If the room is particularly humid, consider using a dehumidifier.
