How to Install Allure Floating Resilient Plank Flooring

Installing Allure floating resilient plank flooring is a relatively easy project that can be completed in a few hours. However, there are a few things you need to do to ensure a successful installation.

1. Prepare the Subfloor:

The subfloor must be level, flat, and dry.
If the subfloor is not level, you will need to level it using a self-leveling compound.
If the subfloor is not flat, you will need to sand it down or use a floor leveler to smooth it out.
If the subfloor is not dry, you will need to allow it to dry completely before installing the flooring.

2. Install the Underlayment:

The underlayment will help to cushion the flooring and reduce noise.
Roll out the underlayment over the subfloor and cut it to fit.
Tape the seams of the underlayment together using duct tape.

3. Install the Plank:

Start by installing the plank in the corner of the room.
Align the tongue of the plank with the groove of the underlayment.
